Payment Policy

1.

overview

This Payment Policy explains how payments, deposits and the Rift wallet work on the platform operated by DEK KEY OÜ ("Company", "we", "us"). Your Rift wallet is held in US Dollars (USD). Prices can be displayed in USD, EUR, GBP, AZN or KZT using the currency selector, and card top-ups are charged in the currency you select. By topping up your wallet or making a purchase you agree to the terms below.

2.

how payments work

Rift runs on a prepaid wallet. You add money to your wallet balance, then spend it on CS2 or Dota 2 skins. Card payments are processed by a PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider; see section 5 for how your card details reach it. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards only.

3.

accepted methods

Two ways to pay:

  • Card top-up (Visa / Mastercard) — adds money to your wallet balance on successful authorisation.
  • Wallet balance — used at checkout for any skin purchase. No card is charged at checkout when your balance covers the order.
4.

currency & pricing

You pay in the currency you choose. Your wallet balance is kept in USD, and purchases are debited from it in USD. When you select another display currency, prices are converted from USD at the exchange rate we show at that moment, for information. A card top-up is charged exactly the amount you enter, in the currency you selected, and your wallet is credited with its USD value at our rate at the time of payment, rounded down to the cent; the checkout shows the USD amount before you pay. A single top-up can be from $1 to $20,000 in US dollars or from €1 to €20,000 in euros; in GBP, AZN and KZT the range is the equivalent of €1 to €20,000, and the wallet page shows it in your currency. The price shown on a listing is the price you pay — there are no hidden buyer fees added at checkout. If your card is denominated in another currency, your bank may apply its own conversion rate; that conversion is between you and your bank.

5.

security

The card form on your wallet page is our own form. When you submit it, your card number, expiry date, CVV, cardholder name and billing address are sent over an encrypted (TLS) connection to our server, which forwards them straight to our PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider to authorise the payment. We do not store your card number or CVV: we keep a transaction reference and the last four digits of the card. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with 3-D Secure. Suspicious activity may trigger additional verification.

6.

failed & declined payments

If a top-up is declined, nothing is added to your wallet and no charge is settled. If a purchase cannot be placed, or the seller never delivers, the item's price is automatically returned to your wallet — see our Refund Policy. Money added by card top-up is spent on purchases and cannot be withdrawn to a bank account; refunds for failed purchases always credit the wallet.

7.

withdrawals & seller payouts

When an item you listed sells, the proceeds (net of a 10% platform commission) are added to your wallet balance and counted as withdrawable. Your wallet page shows how much is withdrawable, and a withdrawal request cannot exceed it. Money added by card top-up is never counted as withdrawable. When you buy an item, top-up money is used first. Withdrawals are paid to your verified bank card or bank account. A rejected withdrawal request returns to your withdrawable amount.

8.

identity verification (KYC)

Before your first withdrawal is released we verify your identity: full legal name, a government-issued identity document (such as a passport), residential address, and payout details. Verification is reviewed and must be approved. We may apply limits, request further information, and delay or decline payouts to prevent fraud and to comply with applicable law. Payouts are released once the request is approved.

9.

chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first through our contact form and include the payment reference from your wallet history. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while we investigate, in line with our Terms of Service.

10.
